The Law literally runs,t h r o u g h M i c h a e l, Rosen’s bloodline.
Mr. Rosen practiced federal criminal, defense law with his, father, famed attorney E. David Rosen, for 25 years. Mr. Rosen’s brother and,sister-in-law are both attorneys, his son,is a partner in a leading international law, firm, and his daughter is an intellectual, property senior paralegal in one of the, largest law firms in the country. His wife,is founder and CEO of an innovative, legal video firm, producing sentencing, mitigation videos for federal judges and, criminal defense attorneys nationwide.
Mr. Rosen is a g raduate of t he,University of Miami School of Law, where he taught federal criminal law for,a decade, all the while maintaining his,own practice.
His career began in the crazy hot federal criminal courts of South Florida. Few other criminal defense attorneys have, worked the wide-ranging and riveting, criminal defense cases in some of the, biggest RICO, drug, tax, health care, bank, and mail fraud cases in the country—from South Florida to New York, Washington, D.C., California, and many, other states between both coasts.
Mr. Rosen is usually retained in the, early stages of an investigation, when, federal agents from the alphabet soup, agencies (CIA, FBI, DEA, IRS, HHS),show up on the doorstep at 7:00 a.m., just,to give the neighbors something to talk, about, and say “we just want to ask you, some questions,” or “here’s a subpoena for, your business records for the last 10 years.”
From that point forward, Mr. Rosen, and his firm become intimately involved,in all aspects of clients’ defense in order,to show the U.S. Attorney’s office why, their agent’s suspicions are wrong. This, sometimes takes years of dedicated, strategy and planning. This includes legal research and writing; witness interviews; full review of the client’s books, and records; and all necessary financial, documents. It may also include grand, jury litigation, attorney-client privilege, litigation, and appeals that may follow.,This is the reason he limits his practice—,in order to focus total time and attention,to each client. As a matter of privacy, Mr., Rosen does not disclose clients’ names or,their cases in a public forum.
Other times, an arrest is made at the, client’s front door. Trial preparation, begins immediately. From acquittals in,corporate health care fraud, RICO, bribery, conspiracy, and corruption trials to,convincing prosecutors not to charge a,client or mitigating potential damage, he,has achieved very positive results for his, clients over many years.
Mr. Rosen’s practice is varied, complex, and successful. It comes from, dedication to each client and a burning, desire to win.
